"I love making films. When I’m acting, writing, or directing, I feel like the luckiest person in the world."

While working as an actress on the award winning film
Jumping Off Bridges, Leslie joined the film’s creative team, as an Associate Producer. She secured screenings for the film nationally and at prestigious venues, including the Carter Center in Atlanta, and the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, for the National Institute of Mental Health.
In 2010, Leslie then co-wrote and produced the action packed short film
Ninja James and the
Beast Boy. Later that year, she wrote and directed the award winning short film,
Eulogy Maker, which has screened nationally and internationally in over 20+ film festivals. She followed that by directing the quirky short comedy
Roomies, and then writing and directing the coming of age teen drama,
submerged. Her short film
STATIC, which she wrote, directed and acted in, is to be released in 2013. Leslie is currently in script development on her feature film,
Merci Texas.
Leslie continues to act, and in between projects she has appeared in film, and TV, with Kimberly Peirce’s Stop Loss, Friday Night Lights, ABC’s My Generation, Pit Stop, and award winning short films including:
Love Bug, Once a Storm and
Chorebot.
